Asia’s premier Hong Kong Optical Fair will be held from November 7-9 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the 26th edition of the fair will welcome a record number of over 800 exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions, including new exhibitor from Argentina. The “IT Solutions & Shop Fittings” zone will be launched to showcase the latest applied technologies and products.

This year, the fair includes group pavilions representing France, Italy, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Visionaries of Style from Italy, and the Hong Kong Optical Manufacturers Association (HKOMA).

The highlighted Brand Name Gallery will house over 220 well-known brands from around the world. New exhibiting brands include CHARMANT (Japan), Daniel Klein (Turkey), GEORGESBAND (Italy), Oscar Eide (Norway), WILLIAM MORRIS (UK) and more. Other prestigious brands include 999.9 (Japan), BLANC & ECLARE (Korea), CLASSICO (Taiwan), Etnia Barcelona (Spain), HACHill (HK), ic! berlin (Germany), MATSUDA (Japan), Markus-t (Germany), PARIM (Taiwan), PULL&BEAR (Spain), SHADEZ (Switzerland) and Stepper (Germany), as well as TiDOU (Japan). Eyewear Parades by professional models will be held to show different stylish outlooks of eyewear.

Huge potential in contact lens market
The contact lens market has performed very well in recent years. In the face of huge market demand, the “Contact Lens & Accessories” zone will be relocated to the Level 2 Mezzanine of HKCEC. Exhibitor COLORLEN Co., Ltd. from Korea has developed an innovative colouring technology, creating high-quality and naturally coloured contact lenses.
